Roberts, Montana

While driving home from the temple in Billings, Montana, we made a detour through Roberts, Montana population 958. This is the town DSH lived 2 miles outside of for three months of his life in April, May and June of 1985. He has fond memories of this location, and wanted to stop and take photos of where he lived for his personal history. This is what we found.

This is where the house used to be. There was no sign the house ever existed.

Next to the property where the house used to be, looking back toward town and Red Lodge

One of DSH's favorite memories is of this little stream that ran through the front yard.  He remembers his brothers racing sticks from one end of the yard to the other down the stream.

A picture of Roberts taken from the hill west of town.  The high school is the building to the right of the blue roof.

On the way home we saw this beautiful sunset.  What a way to end the day. DSH even stopped the car so I could take the pictures.
