Lucy

I am a little behind on my posts.

I will try to get caught up.

We found a great place to take family pictures.  It is near a  river, near our home.  2T had the great idea to take a family picture in the same location, each in a different season.  We took our summer picture in August right after we moved here.

In late October we took the second.

This time we decided to take Lucy. At our new home we didn't have much room for Lucy to run around, so when ever we would take a drive somewhere that she could go, we would take her and give her the chance to exercise. 

Because we were taking pictures, I decided to get one with her and the kids.  I posed the kids, told them to hold still and smile.  I told them that I was going to try to get Lucy in the picture by calling her over. The kids had strict instructions not to move no matter what happened with Lucy. They posed, I called, she came. Here is the picture.

I was so impressed that 2T didn't move!

Later that night, Lucy was hit by a car. She survived the accident, but had to be put down the next day.  We were all very sad.  I am glad that we had the picture of her the day before.  She was 8 years old.
